weekly pause
You must have a room, or a certain hour a day, where you don’t know what was in the newspapers that morning, you don’t know who your friends are, you don’t know what you owe anybody, you don’t know what anybody owes you. This is a place where you can simply experience, bring forth what you are and what you might be. This is the place of creative incubation. At first you may find that nothing happens there. but if you have a sacred place and use it, something eventually will happen. – Joseph Campbell

Dear Women

Maybe you don’t know just how amazing you are. Maybe you don’t know what an amazing effect you have on the world you created. How do I know this? because your ability to inspire and support other women brought you here somehow. You are wonderful. You should really see that. I do. – Donna Ashowrth

This is an invitation to gather together on an International Womens Day and celebrate your Uniqness, in dance and sharing from the heart.

Why dance?

Because it makes us feel more alive and it brings us to the present moment;

Because it has a power to transform how we feel, both physically and emotionally;

Because it gives us freedom to engage in movement which connects us to the space within as well as with others, in a playful and meaningful way.

It’s an opportunity to listen to your body and feel simply and fully alive, finding movement that is supportive and nourishing, trusting your intuition.

There are no steps to learn, you don’t need experience and all moves are welcome.

We dance solo, in partnership and in community. This is a safe space to explore embodiment and expression, open to all, whether you love dancing or think you can’t dance, there is no right or wrong way.

*Bring layers of clothes to keep warm/cool

Music can act as a very powerful way to focus our attention
and it keeps us in the meditation.
Before you know it, the meditation is over
and you're in this beautiful
place of presence.
